Each note pans left to right as the planet rises and sets, and volume of the track is loudest at the planet's apex in the sky (when it is in the center of the screen). The actual positions of planets in the sky are not shown, rather the planets are arranged vertically on the treble musical scale from Mercury to Pluto (bottom to top).
